The central location, just a stone's throw away from the bustling riverfront and array of dining options, makes it a prime choice for travelers eager to explore the heart of the city.The room, though compact, exuded a sense of cleanliness and comfort, with a small sink, TV. The shared bathrooms, though communal, were well-maintained and easily accessible, equipped with essentials such as soap and paper.The complimentary Wi-Fi, while occasionally temperamental, sufficed for my needs, given my focus on immersing myself in Burgos' vibrant atmosphere rather than being glued to my phone. The absence of a lift was a slight inconvenience, yet the welcoming owner's assistance with luggage made up for it.Pension Pena presents itself as a practical and budget-friendly choice for those prioritizing location and cleanliness over lavish amenities. Ideal for pilgrims on the Camino or visitors seeking a no-frills accommodation option, this quaint hostel offers a satisfactory blend of comfort and affordability, ensuring a pleasant stay in the heart of Burgos.
